DanceWeekend - Shazam discoveries (I)
Hello music lovers,
For today's #DanceWeekend I would like to start a new personal series. Because I drive a lot and listen to a lot of music on the long rides besides to audiobooks. I am also quickly fed up with the usual radio stations and switch to stations that play other kind of music. That's how I discover new artists and projects. So I can remember what I've heard, I use Shazam.
For this series I would like to write a monthly post about the discovered music with the help of Shazam.
The first song comes from Joe Goddard one of the members of the English band Hot Chip. The song is Music Is The Answer and is on his second solo album Electric Lines.

für das heutige #DanceWeekend möchte ich eine neue persönliche Serie starten. Weil ich viel fahre und auf der langen Fahrten auch viel Musik höre neben den Audiobooks. Ich werde auch schnell satt von den üblichen Radio Sender und stelle um auf Sender die andere Musik spielen. So entdecke ich neue Künstler und Projekte. Damit ich mir merken kann was ich gehört habe benütze ich Shazam.
Für diese Serie möchte ich monatlich ein Beitrag schrieben über die entdeckte Musik mit Hilfe von Shazam.
Das erste Lied kommt von Joe Goddard einer der Mitglieder der Band Hot Chip aus England. Das Lied lautet Music Is The Answer und befindet sich auf sein zweites Solo Album Electric Lines.
The second song reminded me of Moderat. I thought in the beginning that it is Moderat but there I was wrong. It was not even a Berlin artist but one from London, Jon Hopkins and the song is called Emerald Rush.
Das zweite Lied hat mich an Moderat erinnert. Ich dachte am Anfang das es Moderat ist aber da lag ich falsch. Es war nicht einmal ein Berliner Künstler sondern einer aus London, Jon Hopkins und das Lied heißt Emerald Rush.
The third song comes from an artist, Zhu who wanted to remain anonymous and wished to be known only through his work. The song My Life is a collaboration with Tame Impala. The song is reminiscent of the pull out of the USB stick in Windows.
Das dritte Lied kommt von einem Künstler, Zhu das anonym bleiben wollte und sich gewünscht hatte nur durch sein Werk bekannt zu werden. Das Lied My Life ist eine Kollaboration mit Tame Impala. Das Lied erinnert an das raus ziehen des USB Sticks in Windows.
The last electro song for today comes from Germany from the group Marc Romboy & Stephan Bodzin and is called Kerberos.
Das letzte Elektro Lied für heute kommt aus Deutschland von der Gruppe Marc Romboy & Stephan Bodzin und heißt Kerberos.
I also like rock a lot. I find one of the best music periods of the history is the one of the 70s. I recently discovered a song that is very old and known by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The song is called Simple Man and I think it's awesome. I wonder why I don't know it or can't remember it.
Ich mag auch Rock sehr viel. Ich finde einer der besten Musik Perioden der Geschichte die der 70er Jahren. Ich habe ein Lied neulich entdeckt das sehr alt und bekannt ist von Lynyrd Skynyrd. Das Lied heißt Simple Man und ich finde es genial. Ich frag mich warum ich es nicht kenne oder warum ich es vergessen habe.
Have you listened to Sofi Tukker much? Great mix of elctro and indie and similar to Tame Impala in many ways.

Music is a necessity in life. I have often listened to music without knowing the performer and it was not such a big problem but now that I am older and I am not so well informed about the current music I consider Shazam very useful. Thanks for the impulse you gave me to use. Thanks again for the music!
Shazam is a very useful tool for me, im sure it will be very handy for you too as you like to travel. Well combining radio with shazam is what works for me, im very quick to get tired of my play list,so radio does it for me, i will check out these songs, i might just like them. Thanks for sharing
