DanceWeekend: Cosmic Gate

Cosmic Gate is one of the most famous DJ bands in the world and consists of two German DJs, Stefan Bossems (DJ Bossi) and Claus Terhoeven (Nic Chagall). The band was founded in 1997 when the two of them met. Their first single was The Drums in 1999:

Their biggest hit was Exploration of Space followed by Fire Wire when we look at the charts placements. Exploration of Space can be seen in the beginning and Fire Wire here:

The band has released 13 albums and numerous singles. There are many cooperations among the singles. The name Emma Hewitt is appearing the most, where the first collaboration in 2009 was on the single Not Enough Time, which is my favorite song, next to Exploration of Space by Cosmic Gate. Another cooperation with Emma Hewitt I would like to mention is, is Tonight.

Die Band hat 13 Alben veröffentlicht und zahlreiche Singles. Unter den Singles gibt es viele Kooperationen. Der Name Emma Hewitt taucht am meisten auf wo die erste Zusammenarbeit im Jahr 2009 war auf der Single Not Enough Time, was auch mein Lieblingslied, neben Exploration of Space ist von Cosmic Gate. Ein andere Kooperation mit Emma Hewitt die ich erwähnen möchte ist Tonight.

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about Motorcycle. The vocal from the project is Jes Brieden which is also known as JES. She has also done some cooperation with Cosmic Gate over the past two years, with Falling into you and Materia beeing the most known.

Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich ein Post über Motorcycle geschrieben. Die Sängerin bei dem Projekt ist Jes Brieden die auch als JES bekannt ist. Sie hat auch ein Paar Kooperation mit Cosmic Gate gemacht in den letzten zwei Jahren wobei Falling into you und Materia die bekanntesten sind.

Cosmic Gate is not only known for their own music but also for the numerous remixes like that of Vanessa Mae - White Bird:
