Video from walking dance experience in Vilnius. I saw a call to participate on Facebook. You had to download the soundtrack, come to the meeting point ant start playing all together at once. This music connected us, but was silent to the observers - random people on streets.
It was challenging to dance with non dancers. People were quite intimidated by the fact to dance in the city centre. I have no problem to perform in pubic, but movements were highly connected to the soundtrack. It's boring to dance to some songs I didn't like, but I enjoyed the variety of styles and tempos in the music.
That is so awesome! It would have been cool for someone to blast the tunes from an old-time boombox so that innocent bystanders would have been drawn into it as well. I love dancing for the pure joy of it, but haven't in a long time. Thanks for the inspiration :)
