Dalmatian German Shepherd Husky Mix
A Dalmatian German Shepherd Husky mix, also known as the DGH Husky, is a cross between a purebred Dalmatian and a purebred German shepherd or a purebred Siberian husky. This type of dog will typically grow to be about 22-30 inches (about 56-76 cm) tall at the shoulder and weigh anywhere from 40-60 pounds (18-27 kg).
Dalmatians are typically thought of as active dogs, bold in character; they belong to the sporting group. Since they're high energy dogs that love activity, meet their exercise needs by taking them for walks 3 times per day or keeping them in an open space where they can run around.
German shepherds are versatile working dogs that serve as companion dogs, police dogs, herding dogs, guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs for the deaf, handicap assistance dogs and search and rescue (SAR) dogs. Given their high energy levels and need for activity they're best suited to owners who can give them at least one long walk per day or jog with them regularly. check also here https://shepskymix.com/dalmatian-german-shepherd-husky-mix/
Huskies are known to be outgoing, friendly and intelligent; they belong to the Spitz breed family. Like Dalmatians Huskies also have a lot of energy which means they need plenty of exercise each day so meet this need by giving them long walks or runs on a daily basis.
Dalmatian German Shepherd Husky Mixes are affectionate toward their people but they may be less so toward strangers. They are alert and make fair watch dogs, but are not known for being guard dogs.
Dalmatian German Shepherd Husky Mixes can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise outside but it is recommended that they have a yard large enough to run around in, however it is important to remember that they need to be able to go outside at least twice per day or they will become destructive inside the home. Generally this type of dog does well with children when they are raised together though some individuals may have trouble tolerating very young children who may inadvertently hurt them due to their smaller size.
Authority Figures & Submissive
Traditionally Dalmatians have been thought of as dominant or aggressive toward other dogs of the same sex, while German shepherds have been thought of as more submissive. In addition, huskies can be dominant or aggressive toward other dogs of the same sex and they too are also known to be more submissive. Since many individuals in a litter will display similar traits it's impossible to know which personality a DGH Husky may inherit from its parents until it reaches adulthood and begins interacting with other animals and people on a regular basis.
Authority Figures & Submissive
Dalmatian German Shepherd Husky Mixes tend to inherit a personality that is a blend of their parent breeds' personalities which means that temperament-wise they could fall anywhere between being outgoing and playful to being aloof and slightly aggressive. A DGH Husky may be more obedient and easier to train than a purebred Dalmatian but it is unknown whether or not they will follow commands as readily as their German shepherd parent; all in all they generally tend to be intelligent, eager to please dogs that are very capable of learning a wide variety of skills and tricks.
Because this type of dog has a lot of energy and loves being active they need at least 2 hours per day of exercise, even more if your DGH Husky puppy is younger. Because huskies have been bred for centuries to pull heavy loads through treacherous terrain it's common for them to have higher endurance levels than other breeds so you'll need to give this type of dog long walks or jogs
