ROBOT SECURITY FORCE: Real Life R2D2's Patrol San Francisco and Get Attacked By Homeless People

The Knightscope autonomous data machine, the K5, has 360 degree vision, can hear and smell, provide 3-D mapping and moves about autonomously, feeding data back to the security agency. The K5 will also soon be capable of, minority-report style facial recognition policing.

Some people are not too pleased with the robots' presence on the streets of San Francisco. In recent days, the robots have been vandalized, tampered with and have even had beverages poured on them and possibly human feces smeared on them:
