New Years's Rez Health Quests 2018: Juice Fast, Day 7!

Our instructional video for today is to help with your meditation practice. How has it been going for you? Have you been able to commit to 5-20 minutes per day? Have you found the "sit spot" in your house where you return to for each session? In our bhav of "let it be easy," here is a relaxing guided meditation video that you can use throughout your Health Quest challenge as you settle into a daily meditation routine:

For Today's juice:

Morning:

Lettuce, apple, carrot, cucumber, celery and optional ginger.

This juice is incredibly vitalizing! It repairs muscular tissue, and rejuvenates brain cells and repairs the nervous system! This is a great go-to juice, if you plan to carry on juicing every morning to keep the flood of nutrition coming in long after your fast is over. I recommend juicing EVERY day, at least a quart every morning.

One head of romaine, chopped.
2 apples (green is best! For less sugar and more fiber!)
2 lbs carrots
4 stalks of celery
1 peeled cucumber
an inch or two of ginger, peeled, depending on how spicy you like your juice! Ginger is GREAT for digestion health!

Alternate juicing the ingredients to mix thoroughly on low rpms. YUM!

Lunch and Dinner:

Cucumber, cilantro, beet, celery, carrot

This is a deeply cleansing and slightly spicy juice that will aid in carrying heavy metals and other toxins from your body.
You will need 2 quarts, one for each meal.

3 peeled cucumber
1 bunch of cilantro, washed
2 large beets
1 bunch of celery
3 lbs of carrots
optional-- the greens of your choice, 2 cups, chopped: kale, spinach or chard, its your choice!

Remember to drink twice as much juice as water per day. Keep up with your boiled water with lemon and set your phone alarm to go off every two hours to remind you to pause, close your eyes, breath deeply and allow your body to soften on the exhales, giving your self a minute or two to rest your nervous system and oxygenate your entire body. Breath into your back, flooding the largest portion of your lungs with life giving fresh air.
