RE: ⒶⒷⓇⒶⒽⒶⓂ - the trouble with "till death do us part"

in #dailyquotes5 years ago

Every law, sacred or secular, that we have ever seen in your environment has always come from a place of disconnection
This ^^ statement I definitely agree with, when we bring law and expectations that are from a state or federal level, that comes from a place of lack and disconnect generally speaking.

However, I do not think we can discount what people feel in their hearts as their personal truth when they make vows to one another, regardless of culture, legality, or societal expectation.

It's about one energetic being connecting to another energetic being, and the two of them feeding the energetic being that IS their partnership. Which naturally would include faithfulness, in whatever context "faithfulness" means to each partnership.

This is why laws ultimately fail. You can't cram individuals into boxes and expect them to be healthy, or for that matter expect them to follow suit. There are always outliers, those who don't fit into boxes that law and society ask them to be in, regardless of what their personal truth is.

I know from my own experience and non-traditional marriage, and in my own partnership, we said "till death do us part" and continue to consciously choose one another every single morning. No one asked us to get married, we chose it and continue to choose what faithfulness means to us on a daily basis.

As continually learning, growing, conscious beings, we are all able to choose the words we speak through the things we feel in our own hearts, and the intentions we have in our own cores.

Thanks for this topic! Great discourse so far I'm reading.
Also @artemislives I celebrate your way of life, and I'm so glad you have found a way of partnering that resonates with your being. That is something rare and beautiful. 😊❤️🙏
