Daily Pet Photography: Temple Rooster Guardian

A temple rooster I caught guarding the gates of the reclining Buddha. Many temples in Thailand have roosters & chickens living freely and domesticated (varies from temple to temple). Some temples even have statues and amulets of the mythical luck roosters, some being consecreted by the most powerful guru monks of our time.
