A Somnolent Day Guarding the Gate

" Your dog will never wake up one day
and decide he doesn't love you anymore."


Another sleepy noon, it's already past 1 o'clock in the afternoon and seems like the surrounding was so peaceful as the flocks, animals and even humans tend to hide inside their houses to avoid the unwavering heat of the sun. Which means it's also time for Gandalf to fight his sleepy head. Sitting in the front gate the whole day even if he's untied, he still does loves to stay there just to watch every bypasser, humans or animals and bark at them everytime they tend to stay for a minute near the fence. I guess dogs are the only reliable guards where you don't need to worry for a monthly salary, just give him or her a proper meal and surely tomorrow he/she'll do just like yesterday.
