Your kitty is adorable! What precious eyes! I’m glad to know Christmases can still be wonderful with an empty nest because those days are coming for us and I dread them!
Empty Nest. What gets me the most is the **live music ** replaced by CDs. Nothing like son on upright bass, daughter on flute, Dad on piano, wood floors vibrating as they play a Claude Bowling jazz suite... camcorders and videos are NOT the same! We FaceTime'd on Christmas Eve and that was fun, but there's an energy in the air that nothing electronic can replace. Thanks for reading and commenting, Jayna! And you'll survive when the day comes - more time to write, right? *sigh!
