Oh, our dogs love snow! Some snow is wet and heavy and balls up between their paw pads. It must hurt or just annoy them - they frequently stop to pick them out. Light snow, they love! I just have to keep working on a sled dog boot Prince won't unzip with his teeth. Bear prances and works his off. sigh
Lolo hasn't so far had any issues, but since the most snow he's had to deal with is a couple of inches at a time, it isn't exactly apples and oranges. ;-)
That said, I had a sled dog cross harness for our last dog, a Newfie mix, but it was worlds too big for him, as though I said he weighed 85 pounds, evidently they thought that that meant 185. ;-)
He was literally tripping on it. Of course, I was trying to get him sledding in Florida, and without an actual sled at that.
Needless to say, sled boots were never an issue, though I thought about them for Lolo. But our last three winters have been far too warm to merit them.
