To be honest, wild geese under a fir-tree are not quite a normal situation. Usually wild geese do not settle where fir trees grow. This is not because wild geese do not like spruce, but because spruce does not often grow near water bodies. But we have little bit different situation. Our spruce grows right in the bird's yard. In this Vanya and Maryanka like to rest in its shade.
