Have we gone soft?

A dog is a dog and a dog sits on the door mat guarding the house, sleeps in the kennel in the backyard and gets washed with the hose every couple of weeks. He knows his place and it is not in the house!

This was the 'old' idea of dogs. And although I acknowledge that there are dog owners who treat their dogs this way still we can also ask many other dog owners, what have you done to your pet dogs?

Yes, many of us have brought our dogs inside to be a part of the family, to be near us, patted, talked to and cuddled.



It is easy to do!

They do the best job, spreading the unconditional love from the time they are born. The relationship between the owner and the dog is profoundly strong. Dogs are companions! When we go to work for the day our loving dog is waiting patiently for our return. Not only do they like the pats and attention they are the best listeners as we talk about our day. And no matter what we do, good kind things or not we only get unconditional love from this furry little animals.

So why not give them some pampering at the groomers, they deserve it considering that they wait all day for us to come home, wait patiently for their food,



Lots of evidence from research prove the pet dog's intuitive connections to the owner so much so that he knows when the owner is leaving work kilometres away. Hidden video cameras have captured the dog's behaviours - sitting at the window or near the door just looking and waiting, that turns into full blown excitement when the owner turns into the street. He just knows that his owner is very close.

These little furry loving animals give groomers booming businesses with all the washing, clipping, brushing and preening. The dogs are happy as one groomer proudly shows off her work on facebook . Jack the border collie is one of her valued customers.















Adorable aren't they? They each have so much character, but I wonder how much they look like their owners?
