Dailyfoodphotography - our dinner on a cold winter.

The temperature is low and the air is cold, i mean really COLD. My hands were frozen and numb, wish i had my gloves with me.
Because it was so cold, we decided on a Hot, Spicy Laksa. The spiciness and heat should work wonders inside our body.
Well it consisted of Chicken drumlet, 6 chilli fishballs and an egg. As can be seen from the photo, the egg yolk was not fully cooked, so you can see the egg yolk ozing out when you pierce it with spoon or chopsticks.

Of course it was delicious and it did keep the body warm. Good choice for my partner.

This next photo shows a different type of dinner from the first.
This is a non - spicy dinner that i would normally eat if i am not well and needed something less aggressive like the Laksa. Chinese Porridge or Congee are good and smoothing for the stomach and not oily or spicy to "disturb" our digestive system.
This dish came with salted egg to add to the white porridge. They added Salmon but the porridge was not tasty just plain porridge with some slices Salmon. Glad that i had all the side dishes to go with it. There were fermanted bean curb, boiled peanuts with soya, sour pickles, fried fish and half a salted egg. The sliced fresh Salmon were inside the hot porridge. As my taste buds were not working tonight, i am glad for the Salty side dishes. I believed i am going down witb the flu or cold. Felt feverish and shivering on the inside. Just took 2 Panadol, going to bed now.
