#DailyFoodPhotography: Tinolang Manok
Hello steemian's, Good day to everyone, I'm now sharing with you the dish that easy to prepare. "TINOLANG MANOK" is very easy to cook, a simple Filipino dish yet flavorful, I remember my Mother before, every time she cooks this dish she always includes lemongrass, we called it "Tanglad" and I really love the comforting goodness flavor of "tanglad".
You will need the following:
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Onion, chopped
1/2 kilo Chicken
3 stalks Lemongrass, tied in a knot
patis
Salt and Peppercorn
1 cup Chili leaves
5 pcs slice Ginger
2 pcs Siling labuyo
1pc Chicken broth cube
2 pcs Sayote, cut into 4pcs
Procedure:
In a large pan, saute garlic, onion, ginger, and lemongrass until fragrant.
Add the chicken, whole peppercorn and 3 cups of water let it boil about 12 to 15 minutes.
Add sayote let boil about another 5 minutes.
Season with fish sauce, transfer to a serving bowl and add the chili leaves.
