my own personal opinion I think it’s a huge mistake. But let’s try and unpack the positives and negatives and how both feel about it from a creator/technology point of view and from a self projected business viewpoint and how timing can effects both sides of that story.

Kinda feels like that time when facebook bought instagram kinda thing, shoe horned it’s way into a community that was admittedly stagnant but also facebook needed the data sets and head count — kinda feel like it’s a blockchain looking for a project and a project looking for an uplift of status on a promise, and that promise is NOT battle tested yet as far as I can see.

I had a very fond place for @dlive in my content making heart and a big part of that was it’s support for the steem blockchain, with that now gone I doubt I’ll probably end up using the platform anymore, I guess it’s just another one of those situations of it was good while it lasted kinda thing.
