This is my favorite, yes it was your first real live stream!
Why it is my favorite:
I saw this larger than life man stand before a full chatroom that had a nasty troll attacking him and his family and finish out his live stream with grace!
After this video you added me on as a Mod because of what is not seen in live streams is that in spite of the great message and information you have always been so willing to share there are still hateful folks out there.
For others who do not understand just how hard it is to be in front of a live audience and not let your feelings show on your face when a nasty troll starts in about you or your family it takes real guts!
The Host and Mod work real close to make sure it is a smooth pleasant Family Friendly show for everyone to enjoy and sometimes it takes training the host to read before speaking out loud so the trolls do not disrupt the focus of the host. It takes trust that the mods know you and how you want your chatroom to flow. The goal is to get your message out, not make them famous or even acknowledge them..
After the first few shows I was glad when he added @katedansyng as the official greeter (she is the chatty one)!
It really is great to have other mods there in case they are needed!
After a year we have it down pretty good, he knows that we have his back ;-)
@daddykirbs I can truthfully say is fully a Family Friendly channel who is fantastic to talk with and he really is real and in today's world that is saying something!

If I ever had a large channel I would probably want to hire someone to filter the posted messages as well.
I look at it this way, in real life we wouldn't allow someone to barge into our living room and spray vile messages on the walls why threatening our family and friends. Locks (and guns) exist for reasons.
Moderators are good locks for the well being of family, friends and casual visitors.
@marillaanne Moderators are not paid, I do it for channels that are real people and have left those who speak with forked tongues, @daddykirbs is that rare jewel that is real..
You might be surprised to find that there are people who do pay. Generally very large accounts.
