Thank you for video! I am trying to add some additional figs to the homestead over the next 2 years and this will make it affordable and therefore possible!! Do you know when is the best time to transplant figs? I have 5 I need to move into a new bed that get more sun and have better draining of the soil.
What kind of figs?
2 black mission, 2 turkey figs, and 2 (local) green figs, and 1 (local) brown fig. The local ones were given by a friend whose family has been growing figs in our area successfully for over 25 years! That is why I want to make sure I move them at the correct time!
Having a local to you mentor would be best instead of planting by what another says is the best time, micro climates will impact your trees.

They are in the red raspberry family but golden in color. They will fruit 2 and sometimes 3 times a year. One of the best tasting fruits on our homestead! I never ask anyone to pick, amazing! We started with 35, 2 year ago and now have close to 1,000 plants. They are amazing!
What are the needs of this plant?
