Daddykirbs Cool Curator Contest Entry - @andysantics48
This is my entry in to the @daddykirbs Cool Curator Contest.
This week my favourite video is - 10 ways she saves money.
I picked this video because it was interesting to me to see what tips People in America had and to see if they would be appropriate or useful here in NZ.
Unfortunately for me I don't live near anyone that I could barter with but I do most of the other things talked about.
I buy in bulk, grow my own garden, cook from scratch, can and freeze goods and grow my own meat.

Very nice tips indeed. Any way to save a little money here and there...and be healthy in the process.
Yea it really does help to grow your own veges. It reduces my grocery bill quite a bit now that I'm eating less processed stuff.
What great tips! I'm not gluten free but I do love to save money on food. What good ideas. I like the idea of making up mixes ahead of time. I do make my own laundry detergent and it's a similar process (different ingredients, of course!!).
Wow what goes into laundry powder? I want to make my own cleaning products but haven't tried it yet.
Woah, 200 jars of carrots! That's mindblowing. You'd have to have a heap of storage space. With our limited space, I think I'd have to go more for dehydrating.
Yea that's pretty excessive lol - when I get them from gropak I blanch and freeze a few bags - maybe 5 kgs so I have them for stews over winter. That's plenty for me. Imagine all that peeling - you'd need a production line!
