Blockchain and "regulation"

I have heard prominent people in the blockchain sphere lately, talk about the need for "regulation" of certain "aspects" of blockchain based entrepreneurship. As examples check out Julian Hospe, co founder of TenX (ICO just around the corner) on Cryptocurrency Edutainment

And Addy Crezee, CEO at Cointelegraph on Ameer Rosic talking about the "ICO bubble Madness".

It is incredible to me that people who are so deeply integrated mentally and workrelated, with blockhcain technology, actually are advocating "regulation" of exactly that. It is mindblowing that they do not see the huge contradiction of their argumentation ... and further more ... their lack of understanding of what "regulation" actually is.

The only things that exist in the world, apart from the natural forces, matter and energy ... is PEOPLE MAKING CHOICES. Freedom is essentially your ability to make choices as uninhibited as possible. The fewer choices you have the less freedom you have. This is philosophically logical and correct.

Now then what does the blockchain bring if not less inhibitations on your choice of money, transactions, who to send money to or interact with - WITHOUT - third party obstruction. If one crypto or token goes crazy, bam, you just switch to another. When you invest in something you believe in, you need to have a balance between greed and fear. You need to learn to make good and rational decisions, based on an UNREGULATED market.

Ok then... what is this regulation they ask for? .. well, it is just some people, calling themselves "the government", who has a bunch of guns and are willing to stick them into peoples faces to make them do what they do not want to do, or refrain from doing what they want to do. In other words, eliminating a number of choices for actors on a market, and thus reduce freedom and sound judgement across the board.

We have had a corrupt monetary system since money was invented and never since had a free market in money. And then after 2600 years of failure, using state violence to fix things, prominent people in the biggest paradigm shift in history, with the promise of ending war, unbanking, poverty etc. want to bring in the psychopathic people with guns to "regulate" ??? Are you nuts !!!

What you call regulation, is actually the complete opposite ... it is elimination of regulation. If a new ICO needs to go down after some time, because it is crap, you exactly need people to be as able to get out of it as possible , so that they do not waste precious value on something that is crap. You do not want some government bureaucracy sticking their guns in there and inhibit peoples ability to get their value out. And this value needs to go somewhere else, and if some new ICO looks very promising, it should be as easy to get into it as possible, to save that precious value. In either case, people with guns can ONLY obstruct that flow of value, not help it. You need to understand this.

Thank you

I agree 100%. People need to wake up and take ownership of their money. The Market doesn't need regulation , everything will fluid itself out like nature. This regulation talk is by people who are NOT ONLY addicted to wealth, but are addicted to power as well. Even if they don't know it.

Thats exactly right

The cryptocurrency and the block chain will be the way we use money in the future. And by future I mean within 10 years from now. People need to be in control of their own money.
