It is a nice trail you found. In the Netherlands there are as much bike trails as roads for cars. The distance is just longer.

The trails in Netherlands make me jealous. They are working on it here. They just need to educate pedestrians that they should not walk there like a road. And they need to increase penalties for drivers who break the law by blocking it.

For the pedestrians we have stoops everywhere, just the problem is the ones with the bikes go there too.. and should be educated. Its forbidden but most are too lazy to walk those few steps.
I hope in short it will be better for you too. ☘💕
