FINAL Session 46 - 7 September
It seems that I did it! Even to write this post I say, because it's already been three days since the session where I finally managed to reach the 1000 kilometers! In advance even in comparison to the best forecasts. Despite everything, despite the many rainy days especially. A challenge that started in April and that has made me more and more passionate until the months of July and August where I managed to really do so many kilometers.
It is likely that this figure does not say anything to those who make the road, asphalt "with thin wheels", but those who know the "rules" of mountain biking, rough roads and steep slopes certainly can understand better. It was not easy, even for the physical conditions of the beginning, clearly very precarious.
It ends an era of my blog, but I will not stop writing about bikes or landscapes of the Sardinian hinterland (in the end, a goal was also to make you get a little better in my house). Probably I will do it in another way, who knows?
Thanks to the @cyclefeed guys who supported me, a project that comes from @travelfeed (take a look at their blog if you do not know them yet) ... and also to all those who occasionally have commented on the posts, they were not so many, but maybe that's why I was able to appreciate their support and their encouragement much more.

Pare che ce l'ho fatta! Anche a scrivere questo post dico, perché sono già passati tre giorni dalla sessione in cui sono finalmente riuscito a raggiungere i 1000 chilometri! In largo anticipo anche in confronto alle migliori previsioni. Nonostante tutto, nonostante le tantissime giornate di pioggia sopratutto. Una sfida che è iniziata ad Aprile e che mi ha appassionato sempre di più fino ai mesi di Luglio e Agosto dove sono riuscito a fare davvero tanti chilometri.
E' probabile che questa cifra non dica niente a chi fa strada, asfalto "con le ruote sottili", ma chi conosce le "regole" della mountain bike, delle strade accidentate e delle grandi pendenze sicuramente può capire meglio. Non è stato semplice, anche per le condizioni fisiche dell'inizio, chiaramente molto precarie.
Finisce un'era del mio blog, ma non smetterò di scrivere di bici o di paesaggi dell'entroterra sardo (alla fine uno scopo era anche quello di farvi entrare un po' meglio a casa mia). Probabilmente lo farò in altro modo, chissà?
D'obbligo i ringraziamenti ai ragazzi di @cyclefeed che mi hanno sostenuto, un progetto che nasce nell'ambito di @travelfeed (date uno sguardo al loro blog se ancora non li conoscete)... e anche a tutti coloro che di tanto in tanto si sono fatti vedere fra i commenti, non sono stati così tanti, ma forse è anche per questo che sono riuscito ad apprezzare molto di più il loro sostegno e i loro incoraggiamenti.
Chiudo come al solito, lasciandovi il resoconto di quest'ultima sessione accompagnato da qualche foto. Di seguito anche il mio recapito su #strava. Per chi volesse seguire le mie fatiche che certo non si fermeranno qui.
