Session 44 - 4 September
Yesterday afternoon a pretty "confusing" session. Although I had a more or less established program in the end I did not respect it (I do not even know for what reason). The fact is that I found myself traveling along roads that I had not expected and to do less miles than I wanted. Perhaps I was more worried about the bike, which seemed quite nervous due to excessive sandy residues in the chain that caused some problems on the gear. In short, a "disturbed" session. In addition to this we can say that I had my head in the clouds and I was distracted by so many thoughts. The result was to do a session without infamy or praise, as we say. I will try to recover today with a fairly long lap that I have not yet had the chance to face this year. In any case, I arrive at 940 kilometers and now there is very close to 1000.
In the next few days I will have to do some purchases, as far as clothing and accessory material are concerned. But without exaggeration, considering the fact that the bike is quite old now and begins to show all the limitations derived from this. For now I go down to the courtyard to do a good general cleaning and to control everything, in view of training this afternoon. If things go as planned this will be the third last session before reaching the goal!

Ieri pomeriggio una sessione abbastanza "confusa". Nonostante avessi un programma più o meno stabilito alla fine non l'ho rispettato (non so neppure io per quale ragione). Sta di fatto che mi sono ritrovato a percorrere strade che non avevo previsto e a fare meno chilometri rispetto a quello preventivato. Forse ero più preoccupato della bici che sembrava abbastanza nervosa a causa di eccessivi residui sabbiosi nella catena che facevano saltare il cambio troppo spesso. Una sessione "disturbata" insomma. Oltre a questo si può dire che avevo proprio la testa fra le nuvole ed ero distratto da tanti pensieri. Il risultato è stato quello di fare una sessione senza infamia né lode, come si dice. Cercherò di recuperare quest'oggi con un giro abbastanza lungo che non ho ancora avuto modo di affrontare quest'anno. In ogni caso arrivo a 940 chilometri e ormai manca veramente poco.
Nei prossimi giorni dovrò fare un po' di acquisti, per quanto riguarda vestiario e materiale accessorio. Ma senza esagerare considerato il fatto che ormai la bici è abbastanza vecchia e inizia a mostrare tutti i limiti derivati da questo. Per ora vado giù in cortile a fare una bella pulizia generale e a controllare tutto, in vista dell'allenamento di questo pomeriggio. Se le cose andranno come previsto questa sarà la terzultima sessione prima del raggiungimento dell'obbiettivo!
