Colours of the desert!
The desert is bleak, there are no colours. At all! It is depressing.
That is why the locals wear the brightest colours imaginable. Bright pinks, oranges and reds.

Colourful jerseys also make the cyclist more visible to bigger vehicles when on the road. But honestly wearing one, i feel like a peacock, so i end up in the most drab colours always!
That makes sense. I sport bright colors sometimes. With traffic when I'm riding in the city, being visible is a good thing. Maybe from time to time you'll feel like flaunting your peacock feathers :)
