The ancient village of Abyaneh is full of reddish dirt houses and narrow alleyways. Definitely worth a visit if you're traveling between Kashan and Isfahan. We had a lovely quiet morning walking around this village. The previous night, we were cycling in the dark and still had 16 kilometers to reach the town, while we were talking a short rest a man riding a ute offered us a ride which we happilly accepted. Turns out he was the mayor!
