I would say contact Ortlieb direct, however, I'm not sure without proof of purchase how they could confirm date of purchase for warranty. I do know that even if out of warranty, they have all parts available for their products for repair which is also great. Keeps us from having to replace an entire bag.
I definitely have the receipt but apparently on their website it says to contact your local distributor if you have left the country...which is 99% of the times
