With SecPoint Penetrator V68, the Scan Map has been improved to provide a clearer real-time overview of vulnerability scanning activity.

The enhanced map makes it easier to follow scans visually by showing the Penetrator’s source location, the targets being scanned and the current status of each target.

The improved Scan Map includes:

✔ Animated geodesic scan paths from the Penetrator to active targets
✔ Moving red indicators showing ongoing scan activity
✔ Pulsating markers highlighting active scan targets
✔ Static location markers for completed scans
✔ Clear visual distinction between ongoing and completed scans
✔ Status information for completed, cancelled and offline targets
✔ Improved visibility when scanning multiple targets simultaneously

For active scans, animated lines and moving indicators show the scan path from the Penetrator to each target.
When a scan is completed, the animated activity is replaced by a static marker showing the final target status.

This provides administrators, security teams, MSPs and MSSPs with a more intuitive way to monitor scan progress and understand vulnerability-scanning activity across multiple locations.
