Cyberspies - Book Review

in #cyber7 years ago

One of the fantastic nonfiction books of recent days, former BBC News Security Correspondent Gordon Corera’s highly engrossing work takes back us to the World War II times to the era of Edward Snodwden and unfolds the history and geography of spies in detail. He starts the book, ‘the computer was born to spy ’ and vividly describes how, the American and British used various cutting-edge techno tools for their espionage activities.

Elegantly written and loaded with accurate historical facts, this is a masterful eavesdropping tale 20th century,’ and that is told well, from beginning to end. Consistently inducing ‘fear factor’ among people, how the modern governments—whether it’s communist Russia or capitalist America—fooled the people in the past and carry forward these kind of shadowy act without bothering about our privacy. It’s not too technical. The language is lucid and facts are authentic. Those who are interested in Cyber spying, Espionage thriller stories, certainly enjoy this book. Even for the general reader, it provides a sumptuous treat.
