Global Centre for cybersecurity
- In a bid to safeguard the world from hackers and growing data breaches, the world economic forum announced a new Global Centre for cyber security.
- Headquartered in Geneva, the centre will become operational from March.
- World economic forum will reach out to key industry player and G20 countries to make this platform a success for dialogue and real-time action on cyber threats.
Ok we all know that blockchain is something which is really safe and thus we don't need to worry about these things. Recently, I read a blog that how some accounts got hacked in recent days, where the hackers developed a page similar to steemit and asks for authentication to further continue whatsoever activity you were doing and those who authenticate without reading/paying much attention to it simply handover their keys to hackers. Giving them access to move funds from your accounts. So I guess having a cyber security center is great idea. To stop such unethical work. Just saying.
