Introduction

Hello everyone today is another day and @oracle-d has come up wit another Dapp review which is media Dapp review. The Media Dapp that I will be reviewing is cXc Music Dapp which is being built on the steemit blockchain. This Dapp can be access on https://music.cxc.world

What is cXc Music?

cXc Music is a platform which helps artists to connect with people around the globe and also help listners to get any type of music they want to listen wherther it being a pop RnB, Jazz etc. You can also get more details here and also know the stateofthedapps ranking of the media dapp: https://www.stateofthedapps.com/dapps/cxc-music

To get started on this platform, you dont need to have an account with them before you can use this platform. You can upload music onto their platform if you have a youtube account, spotify account, soundcloud account because when uplaod you will have to use the url of the above mentioned platform to share your music with others. The main Categories of this Dapp is the Chart, Genre, Mood and Formats.

Chart

The chart provides the top rated music which has been listened by most users of the platform. And it more like a billboard chart yeah. So you get to know the kind of music which is on top of the Chart and it always changes.

Genre

The Genre also contain a list of the type of music the user want. Maybe you want Hip-Hop music. You dont have to go through all the music on the platform to search for Hip-Hop music all you have to do is to just Click on the Genre and you will get the list of type of music you want then click to get them.

Mood

Sometimes the mood of people change which also requires the kind of music they want to listen to. So when you click on the Mood menu it will also give you the type of mood song that is on the platform then you make a selection out of it. They have mood like Happy, Joyfull, Dance, Emotional, etc

Formats

The Format also provide you with the type of format of music you want whethere it being an Instrumental, Live songs,
Rainbows etc.

You can also connect your steemit account to thier platform and share your music throgh their platform to your blog.

What I do Like about this Dapp is as follows;

• Alot of Media Dapps requeire the creation of accout before you can use the Dapp but this does not require the Creation of Account before using.
• You also get the Chance to show your music to alot of people around the world. And this will help the under-ground artist to be know by the public.
• All thier Music has been properly arranged and cartegories so you dont find it difficult to access the type or kind of music you want.
• You can also share your music and a music you like on your steemit blog when you are being login with your steemit account.

Things I dont Like

• Their menu are not visible by users and it very difficult for new users to get know how to move about on the Dapp.
• Posting something on you steemit blog automatically post but it think there should be a prompt message for that maybe you had a change of mind and you dont want to post again.
• You can only add music if you have a youtube account, spotify account, sondcloud account because that is the requirement for one to post a music on the Dapp.

Comparing and Conclusion

Dsound vs cXc Music

I will compare this Dapp to Dsound. Dsound is another Dapp buil on the steemit blockchain and it allows users to upload music and listen to music on the blockchain. You also get reward by uploading your music on the Dapp. When you look at Dsound there is no Category of music thus the type of music you want to listen. So it makes it difficult for users to search for the type of music they want. And also with Dsound before you can post a music on their Dapp you have to have a steemit account before you can post on their Dapp. cXc Music is a great Dapp but the people they have is, it is not user friendly but Dsound is user friendly.
And my final rating for cXc Music Media Dapp is 3/5 rating. Thank you
