What kind of society do we live in when doctors and so called judges gave this little boy a death sentence. The only true judge is God The Father who bless all the little children and will judge the judges. ISAIAH 30 26-27 In the day of the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devououring fire: Think about it doctors and judges!

Unfortunately, that is how socialized medicine works. Charlie Gard does have what is considered an irreparable mitochondrial defect. Though, there is a treatment available here in the States that could have given him an 11-56% chance of survival. The court has dragged its feet so that poor young Charlie's lastest scans, as they say, have shown that he has passed the point of assistsnce.
Socialized medicine focuses on what is in the best interest of the government, not the patient in this case.
