What is your community / project and what is its purpose here on Steem?

We are part of the Italian community on Steemit and since 30 weeks we are running a weekly contest called "Guess again" open to all users, in fact, the posts are written in both Italian and English. The contest is about guessing the exact answer between the five proposals and a screenshot with the time and date certifies that the contest takes place correctly, after 5 weeks the round is over and the jackpot is paid to the winner(s).

In this long winter of Steem low prices, we noticed in our community as in general that many users have stopped writing and interacting. Even though a small contest like ours has the merit of keeping some user hooked to the platform, participating and controlling the outcome of the contest, somehow they do not lose the habit of attending the platform.

15 Steem to fund 2 editions of 5 weeks each

How will this support be used?

This support will fund a jackpot reserved to reward the best guesser in the plankton category

Approximately how many users participate in your community or project?

During the 30 weeks 55 users participated and in the last edition 15 users participated

How will supporting your community or project help grow the Steem community?

We think that a free giveaway contest is the simplest way to engage people and supporting plankton is essential for the growth of the platform.

In the first 6 editions of the contest we paid 51.753 Steem to 5 different winners (1 plankton - 4 minnow), we undertake to keep the jackpot to the minimum amount of 7.500 Steem per edition.
