We reward authors by voting on them via our whale support. The amounts mentioned in these posts is the total SBD generated as things stand (most of them will go up as more people vote on them; conversely they may also go down if the value of Steem falls). After deducting curation rewards, they receive 50% SP, 50% SBD as always.
