ENGLISH OR ITALIAN?

The English knowledge in Italy is limited. There are really few people that can write correctly or speak fluently in English and as showed regarding the digital skills the knowledge of a second language in Italy is under the EU average, so mainly people need to write in the language they know. And these are some of the reasons why

the Italian community on Steemit is one of the smallest.

OUR AIM

People must be informed, educated, and motivated and that's exactly what we are trying to do with @steempostitalia and Steem PostIT (our dedicated telegram group). Supporting us you will contribute to make this possible even in the next months.

Our initiative is called @steempostitalia our main aim is to support the developing italian community on Steemit. For this reason along with @bhuz we created a special group on telegram (at the beginning of July’17 ) that at the moment counts more than 200 members. We established some strict rules to raise the qualitative standard of the posts and forbid categorically any kind of plagiarism. We have a structure of curators and supervisors that read every single post that the members of our community produce. We have a system of daily prizes that stimulates the quality's growth called Postit, it’s a kind of ”daily digest” where the best posts of the day produced by the members are listed and reviewed.
With this initiative we are trying to spread Steem and Steemit in Italy, and at the same time we are giving our contribution to the platform by pursuing the top quality of the posts on Steemit and by creating always useful contents.

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE GUIDELINES THAT WE HAVE ESTABLISHED FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THE ITALIAN COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO PRODUCE QUALITY POSTS AND DISCOURAGE PLAGIARISM.

- TEXT POSTS

A text post should not contain less than 200 or 300 words. Sometimes it is good to be synthetic but somehow you have to let understand o the reader that the effort that you have spent in the production of your article is not indifferent.

- VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY POSTS

As for photo posts or videos, you have to insert a satisfying description or add some technical details about your shots.

- STEEMIT FIRST!

For those who own a private blog or a YouTube channel they have to give priority to Steemit, and then to the other web sites. You can still, even after a few hours, post your content on your blog/channel, but this will save you from the reports made by cheetah or others and most important, this will increasingly enhance Steemit.

- IMAGES

Inserting beautiful pictures helps. They enriches the text, they complete it, and even inside simple stories, the interplay of an image sometimes breaks the monotony of rows. Unpublished images are always valued more but in any case you can insert copyleft pictures from web sites like pixabay, pexels and so on.

- GRAMMATICS AND ORTHOGRAPHY

To write correctly it's fundamental. Curing grammar and spelling is paramount. It may be useful to use a spell checker as Microsoft Word or Open Office as the first filter of errors, but remember that nothing can replace a careful re-reading of your writings. So read and re-read the post even after posting.

- LAYOUTING AND FORMATTING

Another aspect to not underestimate is the layout and formatting of the text. Use title priority, use different font sizes, use bold, italic, list stitches, and tables. A good layout and a good text formatting can make reading more enjoyable.

- SUBJECTS AND ADDED VALUE

On Steemit you can write about everything within the limits of decency and the limits of law of course. The highest added value provided to the platform is the one you you are going to publish, that is totally original and not taken from anywhere else.
In short, the key is to provide a "valuable content" or a content that may be useful to someone, or that can be surprising innovative or which can trigger a discussion and not leave you indifferent.

At the moment a lot of people already helped us to support this initiative, when we began, almost 3 months ago, we were just 20, today thanks to their contribute we are more than 200.
