Discovering @daio has been such a pleasure! She is an artist that uses oils and acrylics but describes her process as "writing pictures with love". In this post of a beautifully luminous nightscape, she not only shows the entire creative process with lots of process shots (while at the same time giving valuable painting tips for anyone starting out with acrylics), but also explains a bit about what she means by "writing pictures". Origins of things, and especially origins of words, is a love of mine so it was a great pleasure to hear about the etymology of the word "drawing". Congratulations on a wonderful post, @daio! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.
