The way his 20-year-old mind works is amazing to me when I consider how often 20-year-olds today cannot even think clearly let alone write as eloquently and intelligently as he does. Take notice of the stylish formatting of his posts and the obvious time and effort he puts into each of them. This post is no exception. He and I share very similar socio-political views and again, this post is no exception. Here he tackles the War on "Drugs" and discusses whether it is, in fact, a war on some abstract inanimate object or a war on yours and my basic human rights. Previously on You Got Snekked, we've seen healthy alternative recipes for breakfast, salads, various meals, and hot weather remedies. This week we'll be looking at a simple and easy recipe for homemade chocolate twists by @foodforsoul. Yes, it may not be as healthy as the previous posts, but it will surely taste as good, perhaps even better! Everybody deserves a treat once in a while -- some more than others -- so try this recipe to treat yourself and your loved ones. I'd add some ground cinnamon and vanilla extract when making the dough. Enjoy!

Ok, so I wasn't done with the metal just yet!! I found something else that makes my head bang fervently. I've seen this dude all around and finally got a chance to check his music out....... Instant fan!!!! I am finding out more and more that Steemit is a great place for metal music too. The metal scene in Denver, Colorado (my neck of the woods) is world class, and I pride myself on having great taste in this genre as well. This dude brings it! I've low key wondered about his name, and am now thinking that the "gent" at the end could be a playful nod to a subgenre of metal I hear in some of his tunes: Djent (pronounced the same). Basically a subgenre of metal created by the band Meshuggah. Not all of his music I heard has this vibe, but I heard some influence. Maybe it's confirmation bias, maybe I'm totally off. Either way, you should definitely go check his tunes out! It's heavy, it's got some breakdowns that make you want to toss babies off ledges (Not really. It's a metal joke) and drink good beer while doing so. Falseyedols gives it two and a half thumbs up. Not sure where that extra half came from, but you get the point. Here is a recently posted example of his most excellent work.

Wow! I feel truly honoured, thank you so much for the kind words. It would be cool if the “gent” in my name was a reference to djent but it’s actually just my last name however I think I might start telling people that it is a reference to djent! Haha!
