Thanks for this post. I learnt a lot of new things, particularly that curation rewards decline over the first 30 minutes.
Do you have any idea how the new SP interest rate will compare with the current rate? At present it seems really high, ticking up with each page refresh.

The current rate is about 150% and should have gradually got down to stabilize at 100%, but with the new changes it will be 9.5%. And steem power holder will receive 15% of these 9.5%. So it will be a lot lower, but the price of steem will likely be a lot higher and will continue to grow because steem will now be a scarce token.
