Update On Naijaboost
In the spirit of supporting a growing community, @naijaboost brings to you update on its activities.
The Naijaboost account which was created solely for Curation support purpose is still very much active with daily Curation of minimum of 40 accounts. The team has been extremely busy and tied up in keeping up their various communities as well as their their personal life, hence no regular update.
However, a regular update will resume again so as to keep inform the activities of @naijaboost.
Despite the effort being put by Naijaboost and its team to support content creation using the nigerian tag. It is becoming a concern that the quality of content creation has dropped, now mostly limited to picture challenges, picture caption, motivational quotes and all sort.
It is advisable that when posting a caption, pictures or motivational quote, written text of detailed explanation will help serve its purpose of informing, educating and creativity.
Many have ask or wonder why they not been curated by @naijaboost. Truth is we cannot reach every post daily. Also quality of content and what purpose it serves is a number one criteria for getting curation from Naijaboost account.
@naijaboost has no intension to withdraw its supports to the nigerian community any time soon. Continuous effort will be made to make sure the support continues and SP is delegated to the account.

Even with creating valuable consistent valuable, it is becoming harder everyday for a minnow yo get $1 upvotes in total. This I think is the main reason people are now creating 'shitty posts', at least those take little time and efforts.
It is noble to have accounts like this supporting good content creators, but some are even supporting the already made accounts thereby defeating the purpose of the whole thing.

Well done @naijaboost management team.I will like to advise the team to stick to quality content curation.If some folks think that by writing shitty post they will be curated,let them be disapointed.There are lot of prolific written that are Nigerians and still write good post.Though am new but I have seen alot on the steemit.God bless you.
