It is not about how many people were before You. It is how strong these upvotes are.
I can vote after 20+ low-powered people and still have much rewards share from curation.

You are right. I tried to explain this by referring to the $30 post value at the time I upvoted.
The old post that I referred to is actually explaining it quite brilliant.
