What's up with all the Steemians jumping onboard with the "smart voting" flagging going on for the sake of directing the reward pool ?
Don't you guys remember all the talk about building curation guilds so more Steemian's votes would be cast ? Now folks are going around flagging things because it has a hundred more votes than views. Claiming we must read the post before we vote.

This vote/view discrepancy is going to be true for every post Curie selects ya know, it's also true for every other curation trail. What you are doing is abusing your flags, call it smart if you want but when the whale accounts you are flagging start flagging back it isn't going to look so smart...
And since when did so many people think they are in control of the trending page ? What are you thinking ? Do you want a decentralized platform or not ?
It seems to me more and more people are begging for centralization. Begging to be controlled by some outside force that is going to somehow agree with them. It's nonsense.
If the trending page is the problem then simply change the criteria from votes to views, or even comments; or a combination thereof. But don't try and blame it on something that can't be sorted rationally, it makes you look weak..
Your post earns what it earns
There is no guarantee what your post is going to earn. Do you honestly think by reducing the value of someone else's post yours is somehow just going to jump on the trending page and make loads of money ? Please..
