I'd have to agree with your assessment. I think that curation rewards are probably too modest, currently. If I had to guess on a possible solution, then perhaps the 30 minute timer is no longer necessary.
Thanks for your comments. A reworking of the timer could help, im just suggesting to vote when you like and not worry about picking up such tiny rewards.
