I am still at the very start to understand about Minnow Support and curation and etc. But I find your post inspiring minnows like to blog originally to earn better curation. Please correct me if I misunderstood your weekly program.

It's a two part program...so every Sunday it not only features five community members from the previous week and upvotes them...but also encourages the kind of content that will be chosen.

What does it mean? Do you mean posts my blog nearer to the deadline 21st Jan?
This means the post cannot be older than seven days...so anything submitted on sunday can still potentially meet the deadline for the following sunday. Because of timezones...many people consider day six to be the time cutoff to enter and get noticed before the window closes. Since curation is all about upvoting and linking so that other people can upvote it makes no sense to feature something that can't be upvoted anymore. Anything posted closer to the day of the deadline will have even more time...say for example Wednesday...which has roughly three days remaining when featured on Sunday for anyone who catches this series to go over to your post and show their support.
