Whaleshares Curation Show Recap

Welcome everyone to another recap!

So I have been considering recording our weekly curation meetups and posting those on either Dtbue or DLive, I wonder if anyone would be interested in watching those in case they couldn't make it to the show? Just something to think about.
Why won't I stream those? Well, that one is pretty obvious, I don't really see why it would be necessary if you can just jump on Discord and tune in anyway, you see where I'm coming from? Don't really see the need to stream something that is already being broadcasted.
Let me know what you think in the comments.

I. War on drugs? or war on people? by @blackliberal.
So here goes my first pick and it's not something I choose regularly. As y'all know usually I shoot for some photography, travel posts etc, but today I felt like touching a more serious topic.
First of all, if you are not familiar with @blackliberal, please, go ahead and check out his blog here on Steemit, he's got so many articles on politics, economics, you might be able to spark up some passionate discussions as well.
I am not going to go over his entire article, you can read it and voice your opinion in the comments, I am just going to sum it up and just express a couple ideas of my own.
Prisons get over crowded and become a business which is not cool in my opinion, US already has more people in prison than any other country in the world (compared to the population). I feel like drugs should be regulated on the government level, checked for purity, measured and be available to anyone who wants to take them, they are still going to find a way that is why it is important to at least make them safe for people and provide more information about what they are dealing with, instead of just letting the population get unhealthy and die by consuming mystery drugs they get off the streets.

II. FOODIE FRIDAY #14 - 🌯Homemade Crispy Spring Rolls🥡 by @offbeatbroad.
Alright, I have to make a confession, guys, this one I cheated on, but hey, just a tiny little pinch! I didn't pull it out of the postpromotion channel on Discord, sorry. The reason I decided to introduce one of the people I follow to you is that @offbeatbroad always puts a lot of effort and love into her posts, but she gets very very little back and I would like that to change.
I have been following her for about a year now and every time I click on her posts, I know for sure I will get to see a lot of great photos, creative and unique recipes made from scratch and little stories from her every day life that are interesting to follow.
Just like me she browses through a bunch of recipes, studying them before attempting to make her own, I do that myself too just to make sure whatever I cook is going to be done exactly the way I want it. We all can be so picky about food!
Guys, just look at the step by step recipe guide she made, everything is made from scratch and prepared with love, I can only imagine what those spring rolls taste like, they must be to die for! Note the gifs as well, the recipe is so detailed, that you can imitate it completely. I'm impressed and that is why I think she deserves a lot more credit for what she does :).

About:

Every week our host, myself, @lindahas, @breezin and a guest curator select 12 posts from #postpromotion to present in a live curation that typically starts at 6 PM EST in #curation-lounge channel on Whaleshares server. Anyone is welcome to come along and spectate the discussion and everyone who does tune in and sticks around until the end of the event will be awarded with complimentary assets that are distributed by the host of the show @nikflossus.
There are no obligatory rules as to what kind of content you should create to catch a curator's attention, we're different people and we like different things; some shoot for longreads they enjoy, some prefer to browse through tutorials or art projects. We are people and our choices are subjective, of course. As the platform grows it gets harder to push your work out there and get noticed. However when it comes to scoping out top quality posts, we try our very best to point out the ones that received very little to no rewards.

To learn more about the Whaleshares Curation Show on Mondays I suggest you join Whaleshares Discord, check out the blog of our host @nikflossus and our community leader @officialfuzzy.

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words, and for the feature! 💗

I tried popping in to have a listen, but life beckoned, so I was only able to stay for a few minutes... I would love a chance to come in and watch later, on Dtube or something.

No problem, the pleasure is mine :)

Yeah, I think it would be interesting to experiment with it and start recording the show, thank you for the feedback, lady :)

The idea of a curation report is fantastic! It lets you explain and elaborate the reason you like certain posts. I often do this, leaving long comments that subsequently are ignored by most.

Yeah, we've been doing the show for quite some time now and I thought well, not everyone is able to make it to the event, people are scattered all other the world, different time zones etc and so I decided to at least present the posts I picked myself to discuss during the live curation. A lot of people who I featured were pleased with the initiative and hopefully it helps them gain more followers or meet mind-like people on the platform.

excelente contenido seria un gran aporte de conocimientos que se grabaran dichas reuniones

Excellent material, must be encouraged the achievements and merits to continue growing ..

For sure! There are a lot of talented people on here and I enjoy discovering more as I go :).
Thanks!
