Do you want to register as a curator to submit posts? If so, no, you just need to register with Streemian without verifying your account.
If you would like to follow the @curie trail and add your votes, then yes you'll need to enter your password once I think. However, the password will never be stored, it'll just be used to give Streemian permission to vote on your behalf.
