there is a reward-pool (rShares pool) that is being given to bloggers and commenters every day. It is what you see as the $0.03 amount under your comment. I upvoted and told the system to delegate you X amount of rShares.

The more diverse everyone votes, the better it is. If you vote for 40 per day, keep it at 100%, do you vote for 80 per day, move the slider to 50% etc...

The daily contributions from bloggers will not come if there is nobody voting.
