Big News: Bigwaves Got Bigger Overnight!
From 30,000 SP To 120,000 SP In Two Days!
When we officially announced the project, we really didn't see this coming so soon.
We were so excited because we had just received 30,000 SP from the awesome @xeldal and we couldn't wait to get to work. Let's be very frank here, 30k is YUGE! And to have that amount at our disposal was something like a fairytale; it was awesome.
So we put out the announcement introducing the project and stating our goals and guidelines. We also made a call for support from as many as had the means to, either via SP delegation or by following the trail on streemian and we set out to work; surfing the Steemit ocean.
You can imagine how excited we were (and still are) to wake up to a whooping 90,000 SP increase in the strength of the Bigwaves project. Thanks to a large whale supporter who admires our work so far 😊.
This 90,000 SP has been spread across board with @ehiboss @gbenga @destinysaid @ogoowinner and @onequality receiving 18,000 SP each.
We are very grateful for the support we've received already within this short period. We feel so special and more motivated to carry on.
The Guidelines
In case you missed them, here are some of the guidelines that must be followed before posts can be eligible for Bigwaves' curation.
Posts must be by Nigerian authors only. This project has been setup to grow the Nigerian community and so we will be focusing on Nigerians only.
Only original content. Please make sure sources are linked properly. Plagiarism is strongly frowned upon so if you just "copy and paste", you shouldn't expect to get any reward.
Posts must have the #nigeria tag. Using this tag makes it possible for the curators to find your posts. It is very important so make sure to use it.
A single author may be upvoted only once every 24 hours. This is to make sure that the reward is spread evenly across board.
The higher the quality of your post, the higher the power of our votes! We are not out to reward just anything but quality. The better the quality, the better for the community.
We would not be voting on any post @cheetah or @steemcleaners comments on.
If you'll like to support the project in any way, please contact @donkeypong on steemit.chat.
Hello @fisteganos
This is not a surprise because the Nigeria community is fast becoming the core of Africa on Steemit and Cryptocurrency at large.
The only thing I have to tell you is to brace yourselves because more big things are coming.
We have not even scratched the Surface, Steemit is just the beginning.
