The last encounter (illustration, step by step process)
Happy beginning of week friends, I bring you today the step by step process of my illustration ''El último encuentro'' , realized in paint tool sai and Adobe Photoshop, I hope you like it!
Feliz comienzo de semana amigos, les traigo hoy el proceso paso a paso de mi ilustración ''El último encuentro'' , realizado en paint tool sai y Adobe Photoshop, espero les guste!
I begin with the sketch, in a layer and brush with little opacity.
Empiezo con el boceto, en una capa y pincel con poca opacidad.
With a brush of texture similar to that of a graphite pencil and high opacity I make the lineart.
Con un pincel de textura similar a la de un lápiz de grafito y alta opacidad realizó el lineart.
I apply the base colors of the characters and a background color to help me better capture the colors.
Aplico los colores base de los personajes y uno de fondo que me ayude a captar mejor los colores.
I go on to make the background, like unfocused anger I only make the essential strokes so that it has form.
Paso a realizar el fondo, como ira desenfocado sólo realizó los trazos esenciales para que tenga forma.
Now the shadows and more enlightenment in the sky.
Ahora las sombras y más iluminación en el cielo.
At this point I go to Photoshop and start to adjust the colors as well as add other effects until I am satisfied to finish the job.
En este punto paso a Photoshop y empiezo a ajustar los colores así como agregar otros efectos hasta quedar satisfecho para finalizar el trabajo.

Have you animated any of your characters? They are very promising for an animated short or series. How are we doing in venezuela in that department? Any projects in the making?
Thank you very much, well until now I haven't touched the animation part, I have several stories in mind that can be taken to a graphic novel, these artwork that I have shown during these days are from one that is the most developed.

It's incredible seeing the transformation. From a plane sketch, to a beautiful finish which did convey the "heat" of the moment... When I actually thought you were done, you gave the final finish which only made it look even better!
