After a few bumps in the road, I would have to day that my curation rewards do seem to be a little higher — tiny account, about 350 "effective" SP.
One of the things I've noticed — as a manual curator — is that it seems that a lot of guilds/trails haven't reset after HF.20. Used to be a whole load of votes would slam in at 29-30 minutes... and now? A whole bunch of votes still come in at 29-30 minutes, not 15.
So unless I am missing how some of the mechanics of this work, I'm getting a little unexpected bonus by rarely being "too late" when I vote at 15 minutes — manually.
So that's pretty cool.

Indeed! A lot of users (for some unknown reason) are still voting at 0-10 minutes which means most of their possible curation rewards are just going back to the pool and from there to the other curators instead.
