Some of my toughts:

a. we would need a better categorization. especially in terms of language. I think steemit is now big enough to have a (trending/new/hot/promoted) for some other languages (Spanish, German) and one overall or English as main language.
b. in the post we should have a better solution for the links to other blogs. like a fold-out function or something.
c. and a notification system for e.g. received comments
