Its the Holiday Week of Christmas & New Year yet we are still at work

A lot of the curators are busy with family & friends however there are always a curator looking for that exceptional post to propose and get it upvoted by @curie. That would make a nice holiday cheer to you.

How to apply to be a Curator

Kindly join us on http://steemit.chat and join #curie channel. Engage with the top curators of the week so to request to be placed under their recommendation. Every top curator would have their own method of mentoring prior to recommending you to the curation team.

Changes in Curation for Curie

Verified and engaged authors only who have been consistent without much success of late. Focus is on new authors who have made few good posts, but haven't been discovered yet. Posts from higher REP authors need to be truly exceptional.

Great news ! The reputation cap has been taken out , however the higher the reputation .. the more exceptional it has to be.

Posts must be more than 150 minutes old, but less than 24 hours, with maximum $3 pending payout.

max pending payout has now increase from $1 to $3 .. this gives exceptional posts better chance on getting voted on curie

Author must not have earned more than $25 on a single post in the last 7 days.

this rule still applies but just reminding all curators on this key criteria

Only original content. Articles, art, poetry, videos, recipes, etc. that appear first on Steemit. (I.e. no reposts of older work) Please check for plagiarism and reposting before submitting. Content must be exceptional and unique.

re-emphasis on posts requires to be "exceptional & unique" , an OK post with just a lot of text and a lot of photos would be rejected
